Never stop learning. Gotta get more qualifications! Next, Jo wants to learn fascia Bowen, which is a fantastic and more inclusive technique for those who may not be able to have classical massage due to various health or physical reasons. Having pain chronic problems and receiving this form of therapy, Jo knows it would be an invaluable tool to learn.

Jo identifies an non-binary

What this means – Jo prefers to be called “Jo” or to use the pronouns “They/Them”.
While it’s a common slip to say “She” because of the physical way they present and also because of the way in which we’ve been conditioned, you won’t be scolded as they too also slip-up, especially with common slang and sayings!
Pronouns are a personal choice and should be respected.
Jo feels they are not a gender and are something outside of the feminine masculine binary – read ‘Beyond The Gender Binary‘ ‘by Alok V Menon, it is a short book and a great read and Menon’s skills at communicating this topic is brilliant!
